Why can't I order from your website when I live in the EU?

Temporary cease on shipping to EU customers 12th Dec
As some of you may be aware on 13th Dec 2024 the GSPR (or General Product Safety Regulations 2005) come into effect. Any business outside of the EU must prove that items they importing are safe.
The UK (where I'm based) is outside of the EU.
Long story short this requires a named person in every country of import, and extra labelling for traceability.
However for most small businesses and sole traders like myself the cost associated is prohibitive and many sellers are having to make the very tough choice of stopping trading to the EU completely.
I'm going to let the dust settle.
For now I am ceasing shipping into the EU as we wait for more details/advice.
