Avalon Stone Skull Carve

Avalon stone is a UK deposit of limestone and mudstone from the late Triassic/early Jurassic era and is found around the Glastonbury area hence the Avalon name. 
Not a material I've worked with myself but given I adore working with fossils I understand the appeal. 

Said to be highly protective and a bit like shungite can absorb energies - not sure if it also has the ability to transmute them in a similar way to shungite but would not be a shock if it does. 

has a very slight chip on the nose but not enough to count as a warrior mark
