Unknown specimen crystal
Unknown specimen crystal
Ok - now as I've said before sometimes when I take on a collection or selection or pieces from a private collection outright I don't always have details of what EXACTLY is in there. And sometimes, as with the case of this collection - I no longer have the option to contact the previous caretaker to confirm.
With a bit of digging this COULD be one of several things: smithsonite chrysoprase aurichalcite .
It's boytridal (spherical) growth formation in structure and has a lot going on I really like the energy of this one and the fact it's an unknown keeps things interesting as it makes you connect with the crystal rather than have preconceived ideas based on what its been identified as. Which is how I prefer to work with my own crystal team truth be told.
I'm loving the colour which does remind me of prasiolite (green amethyst) in passing and chrysoprase from Australia - simply in terms of colour.
So there we have it a mystery piece which WILL make you dig deeper

Avoid placing in water if water soluble.
Some softer crystals may flake over time - this is quite normal.
For any sticker marks or residue apply a small drop of essential oil on the sticker (ensure crystal is not water soluble) leave for 10-60 seconds. Gently wipe away with damp cloth or paper towel.
